‘Gravel’ star Bob Steele is reprising his role as a police officer in the upcoming NBC show “Gravity.”
NBC has ordered eight episodes of the show, which stars Tom Hanks and John C. Reilly, in addition to four episodes of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
“Gravity” will air its eighth season on Sept., 2 at 8 p.M.
ET, NBC announced Friday.
It will be the second season to air on the cable network after NBCUniversal bought NBCUniversal Entertainment.
Steele plays Mike Haggerty, an aspiring detective who investigates a serial killer case in a New York City neighborhood.
The show, starring Haggerter, Reilly, and actor-director Justin Simien, is based on the HBO hit series “Glow.”
It was produced by Steele, Simien and “Brookloes” producers David Gordon Green, Chris McCandless and David Salles.
