Steel Magnolia grill makers are gearing up to put an end to years of losses on their product line.
The makers of steel magnolia products are scrambling to get back on track amid a new trend in which people are using steel to grill the food.
“Our business is growing, we’re in the middle of a recession, and we’ve got to be doing what we can to recover our sales,” said Mike Jolliffe, chief operating officer of Steel Magnols.
Jolliffe says steel magnolia is getting a lot of attention lately because of its versatility.
It’s used in all sorts of things, from pasta sauces to salad dressing.
But the company also sells it for a grill that’s made of stainless steel and can hold more than 400 pounds.
It can be used to grill chicken or pork, and is also a good grilling material for other foods.
“Steel is a very good griddle material, especially for people that are into grilling because it’s tough, it’s very durable,” Jollifee said.
Jalliffe says the company has a very high-volume grill product that can be made in small batches and can be sold to restaurants for about $400.
It’s a product that people are looking to use more often as they feel their kitchen needs a bit more work and to be able to do a little bit more to get the job done.
“There’s a lot more people that want to do grilling, and it’s going to take a while for people to understand that it’s a good product,” Jalliffe said.
Steel magnoliacs can also be used as a grill for meats.
“If you want to cook steak on it, you can do that, too,” Jelliffe said, adding that steel magnlias can also serve as a base for making grilling sauces.
Steel Magnolia has been in business since 1989 and now has about 2,000 stores across the U.S.
It recently added the option of a stainless steel option for customers, which allows them to grill on the grill instead of using stainless steel.
