Today Intel announced the world’s first Steel and Feather mouse family, which it describes as a “multi-platform family of mice designed to maximize your productivity in both Windows 10 and Office 2019.”
Intel says the Steel family includes the Intel i7-8700K CPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD, and a 2TB HDD.
While Intel doesn’t say which devices are compatible with each of these mice, the company says “all current Intel CPUs, GPUs, and SSDs” are supported.
Intel says its Steel mice can “handle all of the gaming and productivity needs you might have” while also supporting the new features of Windows 10.
For instance, Intel says that it has developed “enhanced” graphics acceleration in its Steel mouse to “maximize your productivity on Windows 10” while still allowing users to “see their mouse cursor position as it moves.”
These mice, along with their new Surface Book, are available for preorder today for $99.99.
