Posted September 07, 2018 12:00:00 Danielle Steel Wok, an Australian-based maker of carbon steel cleaner products, says it is the world’s most advanced carbon steel knife, and has won a global award for the product.
Danielle Steel says the carbon steel blade has been manufactured with titanium alloys, which is a more environmentally friendly and cost effective option than traditional carbon steel.
Daniela Steel says it has used titanium for over 20 years to improve the strength and durability of its carbon steel blades.
The company says the blade’s high strength means it can cut even the toughest steel.
The carbon steel is then used in its carbon knife cleaning products and in a variety of other cutting applications, including cleaning dishes, cutting blades, cutting edge equipment and tools.
“It’s a very good tool for the job and has been designed to provide a very smooth, strong and very comfortable cutting edge for the customer,” Daniela Steel CEO, Mark Walshe said.
The Carbon Steel Woks also have a patented carbon steel tooth which is used to keep the blade smooth and strong.
The Knife World conference, held this year in Melbourne, has been recognised by the World Economic Forum for innovation.
It was named one of the best new business ideas in the world by the Times Higher Education magazine.
It won the award for its carbon blade cleaning and product innovation.
The Australian Institute of Industrial Relations, a research body, says the Carbon Steel Knife is the most advanced cutting tool made with titanium in the history of the industry.
“The carbon knife blade cleans carbon and aluminium with high-performance, low cost, and superior performance,” the organisation said in a statement.
The award was named in honour of Dr John Gaudet, who won the prestigious Sir John Hope Hodgson Award in 2009.
“Our new Carbon Steel Blade Cleaning product is a key innovation that has been used for over 30 years by over 1,000,000 people around the world,” Mr Walse said.
“We are extremely proud of the innovative approach that has brought the carbon knife back to the cutting table for the first time in over a decade.”
The company will make the Blade Cleaner Blade Clean in the US, the US and the UK this year.
The Blade Cleaners will be available to the public for purchase in April.
