The new Hindi feature film titled ‘Muktaba’ will not be released in India until 2019, the director of the film said.
Muktuba, a story of a young Indian man who moves to Dubai and meets his mother, was directed by actor Peter Steele.
Steele was in Dubai on Sunday for the premiere of the Indian film.
Steele, who is also the producer of ‘Jagran’, which has the distinction of being the highest grossing Hindi film in India, said the film will be released at the end of 2019.
“We were hoping to release it in 2019.
I am in Dubai now for the film premiere, and the film is set to be released there in 2019,” he told reporters on Sunday.
Steele had said earlier that the film would not be made in India.
According to a release issued by the film’s producer, the film was shot in Dubai and has been shot on location in the UAE.
The film, starring actor Peter Shink, has been given a release date of March 30.
The film was released last year in India with the tagline ‘Mumbai to India’.
