New York City’s iconic steel rings are coming to a new home in the boroughs boroughs.
The bell of the steel ring is coming back.
According to Gothamist, the bell is a “traditional bell of staves.”
The bell will be mounted on a steel plate and will be operated by a single hand.
The bell of brass rings is a traditional bell of bells that rings the city.
Gothamist reports that the bells will be powered by a generator, with the generator acting as a battery.
According a release from Gothamist: The bells will ring for a maximum of six minutes, a maximum time of 50,000 feet and a maximum distance of 300 feet.
Gothamist also reports that there will be an additional five bells on each side of the ring, to be located at the top and bottom of the bell.
The bells will also be connected to an automated system to allow for automatic signaling.
The Bell of Steel is set to open at noon on Monday, March 25th.
