2140 steel is the latest in a line of high-end British TV dramas.
It is based on the acclaimed comic book series, and stars the voice of the lead character.
It was recently acquired by Amazon Studios and is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Instant Video.
It follows a young man’s attempt to save his father from a dangerous crime lord, and features a young woman’s relationship with a young detective.
Vulture’s John Walker talks to Ivy Steele, the actor who voices the titular character.
What are you excited about for this new show?
It’s hard to say right now, because it’s such a new series, but I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I’ve got to get it out there and see what people think.
How do you feel about the new series?
The first episode of it is really nice.
How does it feel to be cast as the title character of the show?
It feels like it belongs to me.
It’s like being in a film or a TV show.
I’m not just doing a role that’s going to come out, I’m just going to be myself.
I think it’s great that the show is about the family.
I just hope people get to see what it’s really about.
You can’t do that for television.
You’re just not going to do it.
The show is very grounded and very grounded in reality.
It seems like there’s been a lot of discussion about what it means to be a woman in the media.
Can you talk about that?
I’ve always felt like there are so many women in the industry and in television that I don’t see.
I do have a very small circle of female friends who are on the show and I know that a lot people have asked me what it feels like to be the voice and the voice’s like a small thing.
I really like the fact that I’m being heard, that people are taking notice of who I am.
So you don’t want to be perceived as being different, as being an outsider?
I don´t want to think that, because I feel like there´s been a bit of that.
But at the same time, if people are going to see me and see my performance, that’s what it is.
Is there anything that you hope people will learn about you as an actor?
There are so much different stories about me, but my goal is just to try to get people to understand who I really am.
I think there is a lot more that people need to learn.
I have a really good sense of humour.
I also love to write.
My goal is to make people laugh.
Have you ever been asked to do an interview?
I haven’t, so I don.
But I have an email in my inbox.
It goes to every interviewer.
Do you ever get a phone call from the BBC?
No, not in a long time.
But there are certain moments that I will have to respond to, because of my role on the series.
There are people that want me to come on stage and say my lines.
So I just say, ‘Let’s see if you like what I’m saying’.
I like to make it fun.
You have to have fun.
I can be very, very direct.
I like being able to go out and do my own thing.
And then there are people who will say, “Oh, you can do it.”
But that’s not the case with me.
I don`t like to get into situations where I`m having to say things that are not funny.
I`d rather just get to the point.
Can you tell us anything about the plot?
This is the story of how a group of teenage boys get into a group game and get a little bit crazy.
But the story also tells a bit about the way the world works.
Are you doing a lot differently now?
I haven´t changed at all.
It takes a lot to keep a job.
I didn’t start out doing stand-up.
I started out doing voiceover and doing web series and things like that.
I still do that, but now I`ve got the show.
Will you be returning to TV?
I have some ideas.
I want to do a pilot.
But for now, I just want to work on my stand-ups.
I try not to be too busy.
You are a British actor, and have starred in such shows as The Killing, the Prison Break, Black Mirror, and now the first episode for the new show.
What do you think about the casting process?
I think it is a bit different.
Itís a bit more physical.
I was very nervous about doing it.
It´s really hard to make a TV series that is not physically challenging, that you can’t really do alone
